DO YOU REMEMBER US ON ROSE LANE?
In 2004 we established our private tuition education centre on Rose Lane. We were the first of its kind… hence the name!
Since 2015 we have been sending our brilliant team of private tutors directly to your door providing a flexible and affordable high quality service.
NOT YOUR AVERAGE TUTORING COMPANY
We are a family run private tuition business that includes 3 young children and we totally understand the pressures of school life and busy family schedules! With our 17 years of experience in providing private tutors we are confident we can help you. Our one to one tuition will build confidence, make learning fun and stretch and challenge.
NEWS FOR PARENTS & CARERS
Dear Parents and Carers.
We hope you and your family are safe and well.
We wanted to thank you for your continued custom, we are looking forward to working with you this year.
We will continue with remote learning and regularly assess the situation. As there is so much uncertainty at the moment regarding dates for schools opening/staggered start dates etc, we feel it is crucial that tuition is maintained to ensure there is routine with the student’s learning and support.
Thank you for all the feedback we have received, it really has been very positive regarding our remote learning. The support of the parents and carers and the hard work and adaptability of our teachers and their students mean it’s been a great success.

Our private tutors can cover Literacy, Numeracy, Entrance Exam preparation, Maths, English, Sciences, Languages, Humanities, Business and IT. We can pretty much help with private tuition at any level from nursery…to university!
OUR FEES FOR TUITION
Our one-hour lessons for private tuition cost £30. Students have the same private tutor once a week during term time. The first lesson booked is your trial lesson (still payable) and once you are happy, only then do we ask you to commit to paying your fees for the half term.
We can provide private tuition for the tricky Entrance Exams hosted by many Liverpool secondary schools. Our experienced private tutors can teach the Verbal Reasoning, Non Verbal Reasoning, Maths and English elements of the various school tests.

We don’t do fancy private tutor adverts in magazines or hand out flyers… Just good old fashioned ‘word of mouth’ amongst parents and students, which over the past 17 years has helped us build a great reputation as the best private tuition company in Liverpool. We also reward our loyal customers!
Over the past 17 years, we have provided private tuition for many families with siblings, cousins and friends, building long lasting friendships. Many of our past students keep in contact to let us know how successful they
have become, gaining the grades they aimed for and obtaining their chosen career.
A few of our past students are now working with us as qualified teachers and private tutors!
We have also created strong partnerships with local primary and secondary schools, LAC care providers, TV production companies, football clubs and local businesses.
Rob the tutor has be excellent with both my boys. helping them both with their Maths and English.
I don’t know what I’d do without his guidance and patience.
Jason and Claire are always there too for backup and will help with any questions I have. All round great service.

Just a little message to say a BIG thank you to Stewart for helping our daughter with her Maths GCSE.
He helped her so much in gaining confidence in exam situations and much more, as a result of this she passed yaaaaaa!
Thanks again to Stewart and all your team.
Thanks Jo x
Thanks to you guys putting us in touch with both Inma and Alison who are brilliant tutors, Nabeel really upped his game prior to lockdown and passed all his GCSE’s which is good because he’s very laid back, he’s absolutely made up. He’s just deciding now whether to go to St Hilda’s or stay at King David to do his A’levels.

Yes, things are going well with Roger. Nathan very much appreciates his efforts and is learning much more gaining confidence. We also have to thank you for everything. This is not just about French lessons but so much more.
‘We have worked effectively in partnership with The Education Centre Since 2009 when Liverpool’s schools were included in the national ‘Making Good Progress’ tuition programme. We have always been impressed by the quality of their tutors and professional service in planning projects with us for our students’.

Please pass on to Pete and Roger how well Sophie did her exams. She got an 8 in Science and 6 in French and that’s definitely because of their input. Her original target grade was 5 and aspirational 6, so I’m delighted.

I would like to thank Jason and his team for all the help over the past 4 years. I have used tutors from The Education Centre for my GCSEs and A Levels and all of them have been incredibly helpful. The tutors helped me with exam technique and built up my confidence. With their help and support, I have just received an offer for The University of Liverpool to study Law.
Thanks for all the help and support over the years.
Justin – Student
Just to let you know Ben came 2nd in St Margaret’s exam and got group A for Bluecoat, so very pleased!
Thank you for the tuition support he got. He didn’t like those mocks but I think they really helped with learning to pace himself.
